PAMUKKALE TOUR from ANTALYA

Pamukkale  is one of the disctrict of Denizli, located in southwestern of Türkiye. Pamuk means cotton,Kale means castle, Cotton Castle. After multiple earthquakes, thermal water seeps out from beneath the earth’s surface and cascades across the land. As years pass, the affected areas take on a white hue due to the diverse array of minerals present in the water.

Hierapolis (Holy City) is built by the Pergamon Empeor 2.Eumenes. Like other civilizations before him, he too sought to establish his own city. While traversing near the Pamukkale travertines and water channels, he and his companions encountered thermal water for the first time in their lives. Witnessing this natural wonder, they were inspired to believe it was a divine gift, prompting them to choose that location to settle their city. And they gave a name as a Hierapolis,Hiera means =Holy, Polis means city=Holy City
